SkillsFan is an AI skills platform for knowledge workers. We collect, curate, and polish useful skills, paired with the SkillsFan desktop client, so you can use them right out of the box.
Why We Built SkillsFan
A Trend Observation
In early 2026, Skills exploded in the AI community.
After using them ourselves for a while, we found they genuinely boost productivity—not in some abstract, "sounds impressive" way, but by actually automating repetitive tasks.
So we made a prediction: 2026 will be the first year of local AI automation. More and more skill scripts will emerge to help people handle all kinds of small tasks.
A Gap We Noticed
We looked around at existing Skills aggregation sites and found a few problems:
- Most cater to programmers, sharing only coding-related skills
- They just collect skills without caring about usability—here's a bunch of code, figure it out yourself
But in open-source communities, we saw something different: product managers, designers, and content creators were all using Skills in their own ways. They combined their work experience with real-world scenarios to create genuinely useful skills.
Our Choice
So we decided to build SkillsFan, specifically for knowledge workers and non-programmers.
We focus on: content creation, e-commerce, AIGC image & video, reading & writing, product design, personal growth, and more.
We solve: small efficiency pain points in everyday work and life.
Each skill might only save you 5 to 10 minutes. But as SkillsFan grows and covers more scenarios, those saved minutes add up.
SkillsFan Desktop Client
Beyond the website, we've built a desktop client for macOS and Windows.
The client lets you use skills with zero programming knowledge—a clean chat interface, one-click skill installation, and AI-powered task automation. It supports multiple AI models (Zhipu GLM, MiniMax, DeepSeek, Claude, OpenAI, etc.), and you can also use SkillsFan credits to call AI directly without bringing your own API key.

SkillsFan uses a "free + membership" model. Let us be upfront about it.

- Skills we develop ourselves are free for the first week after launch

If you want to unlock all skills, you can subscribe to SkillsFan membership:

- Yearly: ¥1399/year (equivalent to ¥117/month)
